Net Profit stabilized in 2007

Group share of net profit was down by 2 % to €86 million. Conditions turned less favourable in the last few months of the year due to price pressures and the difficulties in obtaining supplies of certain components.

Bouwproject voor een nieuw logistiek Centrum voor MANITOU Reserve-onderdelen

Om de ontwikkeling van de activiteit RESERVE-ONDERDELEN te begeleiden en te vergemakkelijken en om over een logistieke organisatie te beschikken die beantwoordt aan de noden van haar klanten, heeft MANITOU een bouwproject op punt gezet voor een logistiek centrum voor reserve-onderdelen op de locatie van Ancenis (activiteitenpark Savinière).

Enkele cijfers:

• Omzet MANITOU groep 2005: 988,2 miljoen euro
• Omzet activiteit MANITOU Reserve-onderdelen 2005: 106,7 miljoen euro
• Objectief is de omzet te verdubbelen tussen 2004 en 2014.

De stappen van het project:

• aankoop in januari 2006 van een terrein van 13 ha in de nabijheid van de snelwegafrit van Ancenis;
• bouw in 2006 van twee gebouwen, een opslagruimte van 22.000 m2 en een overdekte hall van 5.500 m2 die aan de noden voldoen tot in 2010;
• Start van de werken in april 2006 voor een aflevering van de gebouwen in februari 2007;
• mogelijke uitbreiding van de opslagruimte met 6.000 m2 vanaf 2010 om aan de noden te voldoen tot in 2020.

De elementen van het project:

• integratie van nieuwe processen en van laaduitrustingen met grote toegevoegde waarde (transportbanden voor bakken, paletten en pakketten, stellingtransporteurs, gebruik van radiofrequentietechnologieën, vocaal voor picking met generalisatie van barcodegebruik).
• Installatie van hulmiddelen voor het sturen en optimaliseren van de opslagruimte en het transport voor het aankunnen van sterk groeiende volumes en steeds meer internationaal verkeer
• Organisatie in "projectmodus" met samenstelling van een transversaal projectteam.

Investering:

• Een globaal budget van 23 miljoen euro voor de bouw en de uitrustingen.

Omzet 1ste trimester 2007

De wereldmarktleider in alle terrein handling heeft vrijdag 11 mei 2007 een omzetstijging van 22,6% voor het eerste trimester bekend gemaakt, 332,5 miljoen €.

Het eerste trimester werd gekenmerkt door een verder zetting van de sterke groei in de bouwsector, ondersteund door schitterende cijfers voor landbouw en industrie.Dit geeft een positief perspectief, waarbij gehoopt kan worden op een groei van 12 à 13% voor het boekjaar 2007.
